By integrating contactless NFC and credit card payments into their payment interface, Jason's team has eliminated the need for physical coins and pre-paid laundry cards. Customers now enjoy the convenience of paying with their credit cards with a simple tap. They no longer need to rely on coin-based machines or laundry cards.
The Role of TagtixRFID: Develop Custom NFC and Magstripe Module
TagtixRFID custom-developed the NFC reader module based on a sample from Jason’s team, combining the function of reading magnetic stripes and bi-directional swiping.
In addition, we also tweaked wiring, size adjustments, and a switch from USB to RS232 interface according to the tech requirements of Jason’s team.
A custom housing design was needed to fit with the equipment they were installing, and TagtixRFID produced the housing based on Jason’s design with extra wire outlets.
