How do I read the tags?
Hold the NTAG215 NFC tag with a bit of space in between your NFC-enabled phone, usually near the camera area. Your phone should recognize the tag within a few seconds. If not, hold it a bit longer and try to hover the tag around to be identified.
Can you rewrite NFC amiibo tags?
No, NTAG215 NFC tags cannot be rewritten. It’s cheap so it’s affordable to use one NFC tag for each amiibo you want to create.
How To Make amiibos cards with NFC tag 215?
- Download TagMo, Tagmiibo, Amiibox, or other NFC tool apps.
- Download the .bin files of the amiibos you want from repos or GitHub on your own. You can easily find them with a bit of research.
- Import the .bin files and the key_retail.bin into the NFC tool app.
- Writing NFC Tags. Hold the NFC 215 tags near the NFC-enabled phone, usually near the camera area. Wait till the NFC 215 tag is identified.
Why some of the tags don’t work?
We do quality checks of the tags, so NFC recognition is guaranteed.
If the tags are not working, it’s due to the NFC area of the phone does not properly recognize them.

Yes, you can use your NFC-enabled Android device to make your Amiibo cards. Note that not all Android phones have NFC capability. You will also need an app like the TagMo App to read the NTAG215 tag.
