Waterproof UHF RFID Tags & Stickers

Our waterproof UHF RFID tags help you identify assets exposed to humidity, splashes and rain. They use EPC Class 1 Gen 2 (ISO/IEC 18000-63, formerly ISO/IEC 18000-6C), with NXP UCODE 8, NXP UCODE 9 or Impinj MR6-P chips depending on the product configuration. Water resistance and compatibility with the mounting surface are separate requirements.

Which Waterproof UHF RFID Tags Should I Use for Outdoor Asset Tracking?

If your assets will get wet, start with the surface you're labeling and the kind of water exposure you expect.

  • For a Smaller Non-Metal Surface: PET4015 measures 43 × 18 mm and has a reference read range of 6 m, depending on your reader and environment.
  • For a Larger Non-Metal Surface: PET7018 measures 73 × 21 mm and has a reference read range of 12 m, depending on your reader and environment.
  • For Metal Assets: Look at PF6025 or PF7030. These use an on-metal design; a waterproof PET label alone doesn't solve the reading problems that metal can cause.
